Thought Machine Inks Partnership with IBM

UK-based software company, Thought Machine, recently announced a partnership with IBM Services to globally implement the company’s cloud-native core banking platform, Vault. Vault is a cloud-native core banking system which allows banks to experience the benefits of all cloud platforms including IBMs’. This partnership will connect both consumer applications and internal applications bank staff uses to effectively perform their job functions.

S4 Capital Announces Deal to Acquire MightyHive

Digital media and programmatic consultancy, MightyHive has been acquired by S4 Capital. Programmatic advertising spend is significantly growing which makes MightyHive ”well-positioned to capitalize on the digital transformation and disruption of marketing,” according to an official S4 Capital statement.

 

Sage Announces Release of New Construction and Real Estate Solutions

Sage, the market leader in cloud business management solutions, has launched Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate v18.2 and Sage 100 Contractor v21. A few benefits of the new solutions include increased mobility and integration, new mobile reports, new mobile dashboards, new mobile intelligence, and new bank feeds.

Content Marketing Institute has just released their 2019 research report on the state of B2C content marketing. According to this new research report, 81% of organizations say they’re concerned with creating content that builds loyalty with existing customers and 64% of B2C marketers reported that their organization is very committed to content marketing.

Kronos Ranked for 2nd Consecutive Year by Glassdoor as Employees’ Choice Best Place to Work in 2019

For the 2nd consecutive year in a row, Kronos has been named Glassdoor’s Best Place to Work in 2019. The new ranking of the company, spot #44 on the list, is based solely on input from employees who provide feedback about their jobs, work environments, and companies on Glassdoor’s online review platform.

Cisco Aiming to Purchase Optical Chip Maker Luxtera

The largest maker of networking equipment, Cisco, has recently entered talks to purchase Luxtera, an optical chip maker. While a final price has yet to be determined, the deal is likely to value Luxtera in the hundreds of millions of dollars, pending on an agreement between the two companies being reached.
